About Us

The Him-Aanchal Taxi Operators Union - Manali, is a registered Union of more than 700 taxi operators of Manali and its peripheral villages. This Union came into operation in 1990 with a small number of members to monitor the mounting demand of commercial vehicles by the tourists visiting Manali.

The Union safeguards the interests of the operators, taxi drivers and the visiting tourists as well to make their stay in Manali more comfortable and memorable one. It makes the far-flung areas approachable to the tourists.

The head office of the Union is at The Mall (Manali), with their branch offices at Patlikuhl and Keylong. The duly elected body of office-bearers and the Executive look after functioning of the Union. It consists of the President, Vice-president, General Secretary, Joint-Secretary, Cashier, Office Incharge and Adda Incharge together with at least 10 elected executive members.
