The natural miracles of the Himalayas can be onlooked by unravelling the trans Himalayan regions as you are on jeep safari. Himalayan Mountain Treks takes you through the land of glaciers, Lahaul, the eternal canyon deserts of Spiti, the cold deserts of Laddakh, and Pin Valley - the land of snow, leopard and ibex.

The tour to Lahaul Valley is 5 day long. We drive for 5-6 hours a day, visiting the monasteries around. We camp at intervals, hiking short distances around.
The 7 to 10 day long trip to Spiti is really inviting. After Rohtang Pass we drive towards North-east over Kunzam Ji. On the way we explore Losar, Kaza, Kibber, Ki-Monastery, Chichim, Langza, Gete, Laloong, Dankar Monastery and lake, Nako, Sangla Valley, Sarahan, where there is Bhimakali temple and Monastery, Rampur regions. After Rampur you are offered two options, either go to Simla or drive back to Naggar, Kullu through Ani-Seraj and over Jallori Pass into Banjar Valley.
 


Visit the Monasteries
On the way we explore Losar, Kaza, Kibber, Ki-Monastery, Chichim, Langza, Gete, Laloong, Dankar Monastery.
First Aid
First-aid is provided by experienced men who are trained for facing adverse circumstances. Doctors on call are available. Because of experienced and trained men there hasn't been any mishap.

A trip to Laddakh
On crossing Rohtang Pass we travel northwards through Karga, Jispa over Baralacha-la into Sarchu Desert, Lachulang-la, Pang over Tanglang-la, crossing a very small village Rumtse into Laddakh. We visit all the monasteries , while in Laddakh, as we go upto Likir, Lamayuru into Nubra Valley.

Himalayan Mountain Treks also conduct jeep safaris to Laddakh that start from Simla. The duration of this trip is 14 to 18 days. A 10 day long special package tour to Pin Valley, in Spiti, and a 1 week long trip to the Lake of Moon, Chandertal, consisting of 2 days drive, are organised. The drive is made more adventurous as camping and hiking are organised on intervals. It is 5-6 hours drive a day. The trekkers are provided with horses, porters, mules, cooks, trekking equipment and guides.
