Silk angora shawls are made by using fine quality silk procured
from Banaras, Bhagalpur and Bangalore in India and Shanghai (China)
as warp and fine quality angora yarn of different counts for weft.
These shawls are woven in diamond weave, herringbone, box weave,
fish bone and twill weave. These shawls are plain (single color)
and have tribal geometrical patterns on both ends and all over
as in Kinnari and Kullu shawls. These shawls can also have Kashmiri
and Chamba embroidery on them as per demand.
