The Ganpati Handloom, Handicrafts & Weavers Upliftment Cooperative Industrial Society Ltd. endeavors to take up activities in the field of Handlooms and Handicrafts of the Western Himalayan region and in the course, work for the upliftment of the weavers, craftspersons and nomadic shepherds of the region.

The exploitative trade activities of the intermediaries has led majority of weavers, craftspersons and nomadic shepherds to subsist on bare minimum wages. Our intensive and up-to-date marketing efforts enable us to provide them more work and saves them at the hands of the intermediaries.

Thus the Society's vision of empowering these communities and providing them a livelihood with dignity is achieved.
